Creative Technique - develops the fundamentals of dance techniques while encouraging individuality through structured improvisation. Boy’s Run & Jump - an athletic warm up incorporating improvisation and basic dance exercises accelerating to dramatic movement across the floor. Ballet 1,2,3,4 & 5 - places emphasis on anatomical alignment while gaining strength and freedom within classical technique. Pointe 1 & 2 - barre work followed by level appropriate exercises in the center. This class can only be taken at the discretion of the teacher. Contemporary Technique - an upper level multidisciplinary dance class exploring the techniques of modern, ballet & improvisation. This class can only be taken in combination with another EVDP class unless granted special permission by the director. |
